A brief background on Tracy’s oils works. ……

Tracy had taken a brief ( nearly 20 years ) lay-off of painting in oils and has only just started back into them as of June 2003. Tracy prefers to work on what he calls “Tracy-nite” which is actually masonite that he has gessoed and sanded and prepared for accepting the paints. More will be added on his techniques at a later date.
